Harvard Prof and Grand chees champ to help JWF develop the minds of its Jr

Professor at Harvard law school, Charles Nesson, and chess grand champion, Maurice Ashley will be assisting the Jamaica Wrestling Federation (JWF) as it seeks to introduce mind sports to their junior programme.

The JWF recently established their national academy at the Ascot high school in Portmore, St. Catherine, where they have been training young athletes.

Nesson and Ashley have partnered with the wrestling federation to ensure that youngsters are developed beyond the physical.

The president of the local association, Kevin Wallen spoke to KLAS Sports FM 89.
